Commander of the 10th Guards Army, Colonel General Kazakov Mikhail Ilyich attaches the Order of Suvorov II degree to the banner of the 8th Guards Rezhitsky Rifle Division, which she was awarded on November 3, 1944 for the liberation of Riga.
The banner also has the Order of the Red Banner and Lenin, with which the division was previously awarded.
