In 1938, 14 of the Mark V tanks were transferred from the warehouses of the Red Army to several Soviet cities: Smolensk, Rostov-on-Don, Kharkov, Leningrad, Kyiv, Voroshilovgrad and Arkhangelsk to be used as historical monuments of the Civil War in Russia.
