M4 high speed tractor from the 105th Field Artillery Battalion of the United States Army towed 203 mm (8 inches) M1 howitzer on the road in France, during the invasion of Normandy. The Western Front, Second World War in Europe.
M4 high speed tractor is 8-ton high-speed tractor M 4 is designed for towing artillery guns and other carts weighing up to 30,000 lbs.
