A Japanese freighter attacked by US B-24 and B-25 bombers from the 11th US air fleet in the Aleutian Islands region.
On the Japanese freighter bridge there is an explosion from a direct hit by a bomb. As a result of the attack this ship was sunk.
In the lower left corner of the photo is a Japanese minesweeper trying to escape from the fire.
