Battle for Leningrad: Italian torpedo boat of the MAS type on Lake Ladoga.
On June 22, 1942, to reinforce the Finnish naval forces from La Spezia (Italy), the 12th Detachment of Torpedo Boats was transferred to Lake Ladoga. The Italian squad had four torpedo boats (Motoscafo Anti Sommergibile, MAS).

The main characteristics of the Italian torpedo boat of the MAS type: displacement – 20 tons, engine – 2000 hp, speed – 47 knots, 2 torpedo tubes, 20 mm. machine gun, 6 depth charges, smoke stacker.
