The Japanese destroyer Isokaze from the Imperial Navy of militaristic Japan goes to sea during World War II in the Pacific Ocean.
This Japanese destroyer (Japanese: 磯風 coastal breeze) is a Japanese Kagero-class destroyer. In military historical literature, the name Isokaze is common. The twelfth of 19 Kagero-class destroyers built in 1937-1941 at Japanese shipyards for the Imperial Japanese Navy as part of the Third Naval Expansion Program.
