I-16 fighter (CKB-12) “Fighter sixteenth”, “fast” (nickname: Ass, ishachok, rata, mosca the among Spanish Republican) – Soviet single-engine piston fighter monoplane of the 1930s, created the Experimental Design Bureau of the Russian Soviet aircraft designer Nikolai Polikarpov.
