Hero of the Soviet Union, Senior Sergeant Ivan Timofeevich Lyubushkin. Tanker of the 4th (1st Guards) Tank Brigade of the Red Army Armored Force. October 6, 1941 in the battle of Mtsensk against the tanks of the German 4th Panzer Division, he damaged and destroyed 9 enemy tanks. Ivan Lubushkin’s tank was also damaged, the driver-mechanic was killed, the radio operator was seriously injured. He was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union on October 10, 1941. Ivan Lubushkin was killed in battle on June 30, 1942.
