Nikolai Pinchuk

Soviet pilot, Hero of the Soviet Union Guard Major Nikolai Pinchuk with his family on vacation after the war (July-August 1945) in the village of Budenovka, the Republic of Belarus.
Nikolai Grigoryevich Pinchuk is commander of the 1st squadron of the 18th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment (303rd Fighter Aviation Division, 1st Air Army, 3rd Belorussian Front).
The title of Hero of the Soviet Union Nikolai Pinchuk was awarded on April 19, 1945 for 226 combat sorties, 46 air battles and 18 downed enemy planes and showed courage and high flying skills.
During the war Nikolai Pinchuk made 307 sorties, participated in 68 air battles, shot down 24 enemy aircraft – 22 in person (one ram) and 2 in the group.
