Golev Leonid Dmitrievich (1925–1980) is the Red Army guard, the gunner of the 45-mm guns of the anti-tank battery of the 310th Guards Rifle Regiment of the 110th Guards Rifle Division of the 37th Army of the 2nd Ukrainian Front.
At the age of 17, Leonid Golev volunteered for the Red Army, on the front from August 1943, participated in the Battle of Kursk, the liberation of Left-Bank Ukraine and the crossing of the Dnieper.
At the end of October 1943, Leonid Golev was seriously wounded and contused, after the hospital he was sent to a military school, he never returned to the front.

Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated February 22, 1944 for courage, bravery and heroism shown in the struggle against the German fascist invaders, the Guard to the Red Army soldier Golev Leonid Dmitrievich was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal (No. 3382) .
