The gun barrel of the Sturmgeschütz III bears a stylized image of a tank and 33 white rings indicating the number of armored vehicles destroyed by the crew. In addition, on the sleeve of the Hauptmann Bodo Spranz (1920-2007) there are stripes about four personally destroyed armored vehicles.
