German destroyer Z-30 of the Nazi Kriegsmarine of the Third Reich anchored in the fjord of Narvik, Norway. 1943. The picture was taken from the stern cannon of the destroyer. The Second World War.

The destroyer Z-30 (type 36A) entered service in February 1942. Entered the 8th flotilla of destroyers Narvik. Acted in Norway and the Arctic until May 1944, later moved to the Baltic. October 20, 1944 was seriously damaged by a blast on a bottom mine in Oslo-fjord (9 killed, 5 missing, 12 wounded). Delivered for repair in Oslo, until the end of the war, repairs are not complete. Z-30 capitulated in Oslo.
