German soldiers inspect the Soviet T-35 tank

German soldiers examine and take pictures against the background of a Soviet T-35 tank, abandoned on the street of the Central village of Zapytov, Kamenka-Bugsky district, Lviv region.
This is a T-35 from the 67th Tank Regiment of the 34th Tank Division of the 8th Mechanized Corps of the Southwestern Front of the Red Army. Serial number 234-42.
Extract from the T-35 write-off certificate: “July 3, 1941, the city of Zapytov. The tank crashed, the cylinder burst and the main clutch burned out. Deprecated. The armament has been removed. ” The commander of the T-35 is Yakovlev.
Judging by these features, this is the earliest version of the T-35 tank with conical turrets, released in late 1938.
