German heavy infantry sIG 33 guns of 150mm caliber, captured by Red army Soldiers in the Battle of Kursk during Great Patriotic War.
Gun sIG 33 (schweres Infanterie Geschütz 33) was developed in 1927, it was issued in 1933. One of the many samples of old weapons, which Germany started World War II. Guns weight – 1750 kg, firing range – 4650 meters. All were released about 4,600 of sIG-33 guns.
15 cm sig-33 installed on the chassis of light and medium tanks, turning them into self-propelled guns.
