B-17G-BO (serial number 42-97184) “Lady Godiva” (Lady Godiva) was part of the 562 bomber squadron of the 388th bomber group of the 8th Air Force of the US Air Force.
The Messerschmitt Me-410 photo was taken by radio operator Sergeant Victor A. LaBruno, during a raid on the Czechoslovak city of Brüx (now Most), occupied by the Nazis.
