The German battleship Scharnhorst photos in a maritime expedition in 1939 in the Battle of the Atlantic during Second World War.
Scharnhorst” is a battleship (sometimes referred to as a line cruiser, due to the caliber of guns) of the German Navy in World War II. It was named after the general and reformer of the Prussian army Gerhard von Scharnhorst and in memory of the First World War the cruiser “Scharnhorst”, sunk in the battle of the Falkland Islands in December 1914.

The battleship Scharnhorst was sunk by the forces of the British fleet on December 26, 1943 at Cape Nordkap in Norway.
