German 420mm mortar “Gamma” (Gamma Mörser kurze marinekanone L/16) of the Wehrmacht Artillery Force, produced by Friedrich Krupp AG Hoesch-Krupp in Greater Germany. The Eastern Front of the Second World War in Europe.
Gamma Mörser mounted on the firing position near Sevastopol the Russian city-fortress, was in service with the 459th Separate Artillery Battery of the 781st Artillery Regiment (1 gun) against the Red Army’s defensive positions in the city.
