German Focke-Wolf Fw 190 plane shot down in the Battle of Leningrad

Soviet servicemen of the Red Army visiting the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190A-4 aircraft, shot down in the Battle of Leningrad city.
Focke-Wolf Fw 190 belonged to Group I of the 54th Fighter Squadron (the coat of arms of the city of Nuremberg on the nose of the aircraft). The image of the heart under the cockpit of the pilot is the famous “Green Heart” (“Grünherz”), the emblem of the 54th Fighter Squadron.
