Fighters of the collaborationist Chinese army.
During the Sino-Japanese War of 1937-1945, the Japanese formed collaborative units in each captured region of China. Over time, these units were reduced to the army. The number of the collaborationist Chinese army reached 1,118,000 by the end of the Second World War.
In the center of the picture one of the soldiers is armed with a Swiss submachine gun SIG Model 1920 “Brevet Bergmann”.
