Explosion of ammunition on the destroyer “Shaw” (USS Shaw) during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
Explosion on the destroyer “Shaw” occurred at 9.30 as a result of a fire caused by the entry of three Japanese aerial bombs. Destroyer “Shaw” was badly damaged, but later it was repaired and again put into operation.
