Explosion of a 600-mm shell

 

Explosion of a 600 mm shell from the German mortar “Ziu”, which destroyed the Prudential building in the center of the Polish city of Warsaw (The Capital of the Poland), occupied by Germany, (serial number VI, type of Karl-Gerät 040. Was captured by the Red Army and is currently stored in the museum in Kubinka city, Moscow region, Russian Federation). Suppression of the Warsaw Uprising, Eastern Front of the Wehrmacht Forces, World War II in Europe.
