A number of British American-made P-400 Airacobra fighters (export designation of the P-39D Airacobra fighter) from the 601st RAF squadron at Daxford Airfield.
The 601st RAF fighter squadron was the only English squadron ever armed with the P-400 Airacobra fighters (from August 1941 to March 1942).
