Russian female sniper from the 255th Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Navy of the USSR, Mironova Elizaveta Fedorovna in the Battle of Novorossiysk.
Personal account of Elizabeth Mironov sniper is about a hundred soldiers and officers of the Third Reich and allies killed. On September 10, 1943, in the battles for Novorossiysk, she was seriously wounded (according to the Memorial OBD, a liver injury, purulent peritonitis developed) and on September 29, 1943, died in hospital at the age of 19. Elizaveta Mironova was buried in the city of Gelendzhik.
