In 1938-1939, Fokker handed over 16 Fokker T.V medium bombers to the Netherlands Air Force, which, although operated as part of the 5th Bomber Squadron (BombVA), were never officially adopted.
At the time of the German invasion of Holland, the BombVА squadron based at Schiphol airfield numbered 10 Fokker T.Vs, but only one of them had standard bomb racks, allowing full use of the carrying capacity of 1000 kg. The bomb load of the rest of the Fokker T.V bombers did not exceed 400 kg. During the fighting in May 1940, they were all lost.
