The Russian 35 Artillery battery turret and the 30th artillery battery was the basis of the power of the defenders of Sevastopol and shelled the enemy to the last shell. Wehrmacht has not been able to suppress the Russian artillery batteries, either from artillery fire or by aircraft.
July 1, 1942 the 35th Artillery Battery of the Red Army made 6 shots point-blank range in the advancing enemy infantry, and on the night of July 2, 1942 Artillery Battery Commander Captain Leshchenko organized the guns explosion.
