The destroyed Panzer V Panther Ausf. A medium tank and the corpse of the deceased American soldier from the team 60mm M1 “Bazooka” in Normandy (France).

This is one of the four Panzer V tanks from the 1st Battalion of the 24th Panzer Regiment of the 116 Panzer Division of the Wehrmacht, who were killed on 2 August 1944 in the area of ​​La Cour-Coulouvray-Boisbenâtre in battle against the units of the 3rd Armored Division of the United States. During the battle on the American side, 19 Sherman tanks, 4 all-terrain vehicles and 20 trucks were destroyed (Combat Journal of the 116th Panzer Division No. 23).
