The last seconds before the death of the German U-boat 185 submarine from the Nazi Kriegsmarine in the Battle of Atlantic during World War II.

U-boat 185 is the German submarine of the IXC/40 type. At the time of his death, the submarine made a 3 military campaigns, which sank nine ships and damaged one ship (the American tanker S.B.Hunt). Also, anti-aircraft gun crew were shot down 2 aircraft.

August 24, 1943 at 7:00 07 minutes submarine was sunk in the Atlantic by depth charges from an American Grumman TBF-1 Avenger torpedo bomber (pilot Lieutenant R.P.Williams) of the air group of escort aircraft carrier USS Core.

29 sailors from the German Uboat-185 submarine were killed, 22 sailors were rescued.
