Assiniboine Canadian destroyer

 

Damaged Assiniboine Canadian destroyer (HMCS Assiniboine) at the pier in Halifax (Canada) on September 16, 1942 during the repair.
Damage was received during the battle of the Assiniboine destroyer against the German U-210 submarine on August 6, 1942 – the nose is bent as a result of a submarine ram; Also, the Assiniboine destroyer received at least 10 hits from 20-mm anti-aircraft shells from the U-210, after which a fire broke out on the destroyer.
