Czechoslovak fighter pilots

 

Czechoslovak fighter pilots from the British Royal Air Force watch the flight of their comrade’s plane during World War II in Europe.
A Spitfire fighter is in the background of the Czechoslovak fighter pilots.
Both Czechoslovak fighter pilots have the military rank of Pilot Officer, which corresponded to the rank of lieutenant in Soviet aviation.
The squadrons that included the Czechoslovak fighter pilots in the British Royal Air Force were: 68th, 310th, 312, 313 (fighter) and 311 (bomber).
