Crossing Soviet SU-152 self-propelled artillery gun of the Red Army on a ferry from the N2P 103 pontoon battalion across the Dnieper River in the Perevalochnaya area. In the Soviet SU-152 photo, a collection of steam from four bow semi-pontoons and two medium half-pontoons of a heavy pontoon battalion (N2P), assembled in two pontoons located along the sides of the ferry, and three pontoons in the middle.
The ferry with SU-152 self-propelled on it is towed by the boat BMK-70. The first crossing of the Dnieper in the Perevalochnaya area occurred on September 29, 1943 with the help of fishing and rubber (A-3) boats. Battles for the retention of the bridgehead took place before October 10, 1943. The ferry shown in the photo operated from October 1 to October 10, 1943.
