Type 3 “Chi-Nu” (三式 中 車 車) is Japanese medium tank of the Second World War. It was created in 1943 as the further development of the Type 1 Chi-He tank, differing from it with a new, more powerful, 75 mm gun in a new tower. The most perfect serial Japanese tank of the Second World War. In total, during the serial release, according to various sources, from 60 to 166 of the Chi-Nu tanks were made. They did not participate in hostilities, since they acted in units intended for the defense of the Japanese Islands from the never -up invasion of the US troops.
