Canadian Moose Jaw corvette (HMCS Moose Jaw) in the sea.

Moose Jaw Corvette, the Board number is K164, class – Flower.
Moose Jaw Corvette was built in Canada. Construction of the corvette started on August 12, 1940, launched on April 9, 1941, accepted into the Canadian navy on June 19, 1941.

The Moose Jaw Corvette was used in the North Atlantic to accompany the seafts of the Convoys of Convoys between Halifax and the Western approaches.
September 10, 1941 in the group of ships the Moose Jaw corvette sank the German U-501 submarine.

Moose Jaw Corvette removed from the Canadian Navy in the summer of 1945.
