Charlottetown Corvette, the Board number is K244, class – Flower. Built in Canada.
Charlottetown Corvette, the construction began July 07, 1941, launched on September 10, 1941, accepted into the Canadian navy on December 13, 1941.

Charlottetown Corvette was used in the North Atlantic to accompany Allied naval convoys between Halifax and the Western approaches.

Charlottetown corvette was sunk on September 11, 1942 using a torpedo from a German U-517 submarine near the shores of Canada. 8 sailors (including the captain) were killed, the other 56 crew members were rescued.
