Calgary Corvette, the board number is K231, class – Flower, was built in Canada.
Construction began on March 22, 1941, launched on August 23, 1941, adopted into the Canadian Navy on December 16, 1941.

The Calgary Corvette was used in the North Atlantic to escort Allied naval convoys between Halifax and the Western approaches until November 1942. On July 30, 1942, 71 surviving sailors from a British ship Pacific Pioneer torpedoed by a German U-132 submarine were taken aboard the Calgary.
The Calgary Corvette in November 1942 took part in Operation Torch (Allied invasion in North Africa), and served in the Mediterranean until August 1943. Since August 1943 – in the Atlantic.
On November 20, 1943, the Calgary Corvette as part of a group of ships participated in the sinking of U-536. In June 1944, he participated in the Allied invasion of Normandy.
On November 29, 1944, the Calgary corvette sank the German U-322 submarine in the English Channel.

Calgary Corvette removed from the Canadian Navy in the summer of 1945.
