The Canadian Bittersweet Corvette (HMCS Bittersweet) at sea in May 1943.

Bittersweet corvette, the number is K182, class – Flower.
Bittersweet corvette was built in the UK. Construction began on April 17, 1940, launched on September 12, 1940, accepted into the Canadian navy on January 23, 1941.

HMCS Bittersweet used in the North Atlantic to escort sea convoys between Halifax and Liverpool.

HMCS Bittersweet dismissed from the Canadian Navy in 1945 and returned to Britain.
