San Giorgio cruiser

The San Giorgio cruiser picture was taken from an English military aircraft.

The entered service on July 1, 1910 and was used in the protection of Tobruk as a floating battery.
January 21, 1941 cruiser, anchored in the port, was attacked by British bombers. After receiving several hits bombs, the cruiser sat on the bottom. San Giorgio cruiser was flooded in Tobruk on January 22, 1941, before the city was abandoned.
