Burning German military equipment

Burning German military equipment (the armored personnel carrier) on the road near the village of St Aubin-d’Appenai on the road between Alencon and Mortagne in Normandy.

August 11, 1944 there was fighting between the Americans (5th Armored Division (Victory) and the 79th Infantry Division) and the Waffen SS of German Army who were defeated, many SS-soldiers were captured.
The Americans have also discovered Intelligence unit of the German 2nd Panzer Division and destroyed part of military equipment that were left burning on the road.
American propaganda intended to use the photos of German military equipment for their own purposes.
