The fourth day of Operation Market Garden. A British truck from the XXX corps exploded after a German projectile hit the road from Eindhoven to Nijmegen, nicknamed “Hell Highway.”
After this explosion, traffic on the road stopped and cars stopped from the city of Son in Holland to the Belgian border.
In a roadside ditch, Allied soldiers hide from Nazi shelling.
