Bundenthal

 

A group of surviving soldiers of the 157th Regiment of the US Army 45th Infantry Division, who were surrounded by the Wehrmacht Forces and held out for a week in the German town of Bundenthal until reinforcements arrived. The Western Front of the Germany during World War Two in Europe.
Bundenthal is a community in Germany, in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
Part of the Südwestpfalz distric. Reports to the management of Daner Felsenland. The population of this town is 1137 people (as of December 31, 2010). It covers an area of 10.22 km².
