Bulgarian pilots of the Ar-196A-3 Seagull seaplane of the German production of the 161st coastal squadron on the Black Sea.
In the Bulgarian aviation all combat and training aircraft had their names. So, the seaplane Ar-196 was named “The Seagull”. The Bulgarian 161st coastal squadron was based in Varna until the summer of 1944.
