Burnt Soviet BT7 light tank of the Red Army Armored Force of 1938 model. In the open hatch can be seen the charred body of the tank crew member.
This BT7 tank belonged to the 53rd tank regiment of the 81st Motorized Division of the 4th Mechanized Corps
The cause of the death of the BT7 tank was the entry of a German 37 mm armor-piercing projectile over the mechanic-driver’s viewing device, after which a detonation of the ammunition set-up occurred.
