Handley Page Halifax is a British four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War. A contemporary of the famous Lancaster, Halifax remained in service until the end of the war. In addition to the Royal Air Force, Handley Page Halifax was in service with the Royal Australian Air Force, the Royal New Zealand Air Force, the Royal Canadian Air Force, as well as the French Air Force, the Air Force of Pakistan and the Air Force of Egypt.
