Cromwell tank

 

Battle of Villers-Bocage: British Cromwell tank (VIII Cromwell) No. T187608 of Sergeant Gerald Holloway, destroyed in Villers-Bocage.
VIII Cromwell tank belonged to the 7th British Armored Division. It was destroyed by the German “Tiger I” heavy tank under the command of the SS-Hauptsturmführer Michael Wittmann.
