Belgrade residents welcome military coup March 27, 1941

 

Belgrade residents welcome the military coup, which resulted in the dismissal of Prince Pavle Karađoriević from power, and 17-year-old King Peter II was enthroned.
The overthrown government intended to bring Yugoslavia into the Triple Pact, which was opposed by the majority of the country’s inhabitants.
