Sergeant of the Red Army

Interesting World War II photo the soldiers  and junior officers and sergeant of the Red Army were awarded the Order of the Red Banner. The Eastern Front.

Probably, WW2 photo taken in April and May 1943. Kitel of the sergeant of the Red Army with a turndown collar and shoulders are the epaulets (the epaulets in the Red Army appeared in March 1943). Order of Red Banner is the older model, the officer who gives the order, has no the epaulets.
