The nearby British destroyer “Javelin” (HMS Javelin) towed the destroyer Nestor until 5:30 on June 16, 1942, however, due to the large amount of water received, the destroyer Nestor began to go under water and it was decided to sink it. At 7:00 Nestor the destroyer was sunk; his entire team moved to the Javelin.
