View of the Australian cruisers HMAS Shropshire and Australia (HMAS Australia, D84) through the sight of the anti-aircraft gun of the American light cruiser Phoenix in the vicinity of Leyte Island.
USS Phoenix, CL-46, in the future it is the Argentine cruiser “General Belgrano” (ARA General Belgrano), sunk by the British in 1982 during the Falklands War.
Based on her camouflage, the third ship is the USS Portland (CA-33) heavy cruiser.
