An American soldier, Sherman tank

 

An American soldier inspects the Sherman M4A1 medium tank from the 753rd tank battalion, which was destroyed in battles against units of the German 11th Panzer Division on August 28, 1944 in the vicinity of Grane in eastern France on a section of the American 7th Army.
On the turret of the Sherman tank, three through hits of German anti-tank shells are clearly visible.
