Panzer V Panther

 

American soldiers of the US Army inspect the burnt German Panzer V Panther medium tank from the Nazi Panzerwaffe. Western Front of the Third Reich during World War II in Europe.
On July 11, 1944, a German tank unit attacked the American bridgehead at Saint-Fromond. The Panzer V Panther tank was destroyed by a direct hit from the M10 tank destroyer. All the German tank crew members were killed.
In total, in this battle, the Germans lost 10 tanks of the Pz. 5 Panther and 12 of Panzer IV medium tanks.
