An American field hospital

 

Soldiers unload construction materials for a American field hospital being set up outside Carentan City in the Battle of France for wounded US Army personnel.
This American field hospital (5th General Hospital) will begin its work on August 1, 1944. Western Front, World War II.

To the left of the US Army soldier is a Chevrolet G7113 tractor with a 3.5-ton trailer.
